One Laplace, inc. Unveils a Full UI Redesign of "Laplace closet" — Pack Light. Go Freely. —

One Laplace, inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Taisei Ninomiya) is pleased to announce a complete redesign of the user interface of "Laplace closet," a clothing rental service for travelers, released on August 1, 2026.

The redesign replaces the green-based look the service has carried since launch with a sleek new identity built on red and black. It also puts the service's core message — "PACK LIGHT — Go freely." — front and center, restructuring the site so that even first-time visitors can immediately understand what the service is, how much it costs, and how it works.

■ Highlights of the Redesign

  • A refreshed brand identity that shifts the key colors from green to red and black, replacing the previous photo-led hero with bold "PACK LIGHT" typography for a sharper, more refined first impression
  • The essentials travelers want to know before signing up — rentals from ¥400 per day, ¥800 for delivery and return, free registration, and nationwide delivery (excluding some remote islands) — brought together right in the first view
  • A four-step walkthrough — Reserve, Choose your clothes, Pick up at your hotel, Return — that lets travelers picture the entire experience, from landing at the airport to heading out into the city
  • A clear presentation of what makes Laplace closet different: AI-powered outfit suggestions, hotel pickup and return with no cleaning required, same-day delivery within Tokyo for orders placed by 1:00 p.m., and pricing where the per-day rate goes down the longer you rent
  • A dedicated section for "Laplace closet × Tokyo Run Club," a special collection curated with the running community TOKYO RUN CLUB — shoes, layers, and caps hand-picked for runners passing through Tokyo, available via hotel delivery or on-site pickup at runs
  • Full support for English and Japanese, so international visitors can move smoothly from browsing to booking

One Laplace will continue to improve both the service and the experience, so travelers can enjoy their journeys lighter and freer than ever.
